This is the famous, or not so famous as the case may be, "Hey Phil, what's happening!" show. As [the Band] came out for a second encore...Lesh was missing. So Weir got us all to shout at the top of our lungs, "Hey Phil, What's Happening!"
Yes, there is another. February 3, 1979, but that's the only other show were the three big pairings of China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider, Scarlet Begonias>Fire on the Mountain and Estimated Prophet>Eyes of the World were played in the same show. Note there were four shows with China Rider, Scar Fire and Lost Sailor Saint 11-8-79, 10-22-80, 12-31-80 (mine) and 7-8-81.
September 12, 1981 goes a bit further but playing this pairing in a row, with an added C.C. Rider between Fire and Eyes
Everything that nice was paired from the get-go with extra sauce at every corner
